Not worth the time.. Excluding Dave Kempton, each bio was recorded from first hand interviews. A great addition to any library!. This is a great book. Both were enjoyable but due to my lack of focused attention really took a long time. Townsend Albright has written a wonderful book about holding it all together financially when the unthinkable happens. This was the perfect mash-up of a screwy adventure plot and its fairy tale basis.
The four princes of Rapunzel, Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty haven't got much to show for their brief splash of stardom. These Òold-fashionedÓ values which the author takes as given and forever relevant, our societyÑat least that part of it which expresses itself most loudlyÑdeems irrelevant and out of fashion. I wish I'd bought this in hardcover just so I could flip through the book and stare at them. It brings the history of many milestones in mathematics and gives you an overview of the main discoveries
