The text is still good, and scholarship moves pretty slowly re these artefacts, or so I believe.

2.) The condition and workmanship of the textiles illustrated are, well, mostly just OK. Good book.. That said, I find Faris's book to be quite interesting and wonderfully anecdotal–a gentle introduction to the climate horror that awaits us. I loved the character development and enjoyed the pace, which drew me in in right away. Giddens has an astonishing command of the popular culture of the 20's and 30's (this book ends in 1940.)

Giddens's story of Crosby's rise is about how his natural talent as a singer overwhelmed every one who heard him. I was glad to see some really unique activities in here (even though it first came out twenty years ago!). Very good book but it's kind of confusing for me. as i would do with any other book, i started by reading the introduction and suggested readings. however, as I noticed it was a 2nd edition of the book, I looked up my l
