Duffy Dombrowski is not your average social worker. Betty Fussell's memoir is that of a woman who is trapped in the mores of the times in which she lives. This is the food people drive over an hour to get, pay high prices for, and shop in inconvenient outdoor locations. Banana Hammock-that scene with Bananarama playing I had actual tears of laughter in my eyes) as the two grow closer and closer as he not only becomes a great friend to her but he helps her mark the last remaining items on a bucket list her mother had made before she was born.
I was DYING throughout the story while hoping and praying along with Baylee that Sebby would crack and want more.
