Over 60 plates contain wonderful pencil drawings of salt marsh biota. That said, I came to this book, How Do I Love Thee? with no real expectations. Mr. Clowney wonderfully captures the prominent themes of exile, suffering and the cross, and brings them relevantly to the reader. You never got a second chance with Crosby.
This is a remarkable biography. But, I have the female urgency for completion, and I really want to see these two become a pair, and then save the world. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was because it did not have too many pictures, and the few it had, I did not think they were that good. I was amazed at the amount of information to be had and how little I actually knew about Columbus and the history surrounding his discovery of the new world.. Get on board! RFKC rocks!. You can not truly read this novel; you can only re-read it (ok, so I am borrowing a bit ). Suggested path that worked for me is:
