Look over here at the squash. many of these are intrinsic to their (african's) existence - long before the days of colonialism and finer cloth options. What I mean is, my wife and I have a few old Peruvian textiles, accumulated years ago on our very modest collecting budget. I felt it was true to their characters, and a lot was revealed about them through their intimacy.
All in all, this was a terrific book, and I'm really glad I picked it up

This is the story of Morgan, a coffee shop owner and assistant movie director in Los Angeles. Hers is a point of view worth your attention. The move from generation to generation is seemless. It's a good book. In addition, at least one table referred to in the text is missing from the book entirely. It is a fairly quick read providing some recognizable names and memorable occurrences.
