Mercer Mayer's very popular character stars in a getting-ready-for-Christmas picture book. Little Critter approaches Christmas with the intention of being a good helper. When he makes a mistake, he has a logical explanation. He couldn't wrap the Christmas package because the tape got too sticky. He couldn't buy his parents a present because there were too many toys to look at. He couldn't put up the tree lights because they were just too tangled. Little Critter means well, but every funny illustration shows him as tangled up as the Christmas lights.

When he was child, his mother instilled in him a love of nature, and he always dreamed of flying with the birds. Great book. This is a great resource for people who have ADD and have trouble focusing and keeping on tract. The book gives you insight straight from the engineers that worked on the prodject. Together they have several interesting adventures involving a 10-year-old bandit king, trolls, giants and a dragon. A lazy, if not incompetent, effort.. It's like reading supernatural story about Maya people at first which was followed by friendship between 2 people, their meeting with a very beautiful enigmatic woman until the strange happening in Monte Verita.
