Editorial : About the Author Budd Burton Moss grew up in the shadow of the Hollywood Hills. His father Lou B. Moss was film editor at 20th Century Fox and his uncle was iconic Sam Zimbalist; Qua Vadis and Ben Hur producer. In his youth he was an actor and aspiring matador. He knew Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Wagner and Jack Valenti; he married Ruth Roman. In the 1960s, following the family’s legendary Hollywood footprints, he became a talent agent to the stars including Rita Hayworth. Sidney Poitier was best man at his wedding to Carolyn at Melvin Belli’s home. Larry King wrote the forward to his books. One bi-page mapsheet even has a gap where (apparently) the copier couldn't spread the binding of the original far enough apart to lay
