I heard about this book because the co-author, Jacqueline Shannon, is an acquaintance. The number one complaint is that the book is too short – it’s deliberate. All the issues (pain of losing her soulmate, finally accepting her love for Quinn and committing to their relationship, working out her ambivalence of being a guardian) were resolved here. Don't really care for Ellen's narrative.. Bartlett and Patricia Bartlett; Corn Snakes and Other Rat Snakes, also by Bartlett and Bartlett; and especially The Corn Snake Manual, by Bill and Kathy Love. I am going to recommend it to my family in the UK and Ireland. His book Journey to Black Belt: Lessons for Life illustrates 22 maxims he’s learned along the way.What surprised me was the wisdom for living outside of the dojo. However, the main bulk of the book is about Christopher Columbus: his life, his travels and his adventures. I forced myself to stop at 30-40 pages a day, just to savor the story and reflect on the characte
